Ozploitation oddity Dead End Drive-In takes place mostly in drive-in theatre, which has become a concentration camp for social outcasts. As two films are shown at night, director Brian Trenchard-Smith used films that he had previously directed.
The first one is Turkey Shoot (1982).
The second is The Man from Hong Kong (1975, co-directed with Yu Wang).
As an added bonus, a poster of John Landis’Â Into the Night (1985) and a Rambo spoof.
