Le Gamaar cinema, a place of much significance in Quentin Tarantino’s film, wasn’t an actual Parisian cinema, but it was built at the Babelsberg studios , where the film was shot (more information here). Its exterior can be seen twice, when Shosanna (Mélanie Laurent) changes titles on the marquee. The first film shown is Arnold Fanck & G.W. Pabst’s Die weiße Hölle vom Piz Palü (1929).
