Palmer Video is the place where Amelia (Catherine Keener) is usually rent movies and also the place where the three stages of her relationship with employee Bill (Kevin Corrigan) are happening: the flirt, a misunderstanding and making amends. Few VHS tapes are seen during their conversation, starting with Peter and Bobby Farrelly’s Dumb & Dumber (1994).
